Schoharie County has worked to keep bus fares constant for the past 20 years. During that time, costs to operate bus services have risen due to inflation and customer fares have not kept pace. To close this growing gap, Schoharie County Board of Supervisors has proposed the Schoharie County Public Transportation Department increase their bus fare in 2015. These increases would allow the agency to keep pace with inflation and continue to make improvements to bus services and facilities.

Public Notice has been prepared under federal guidelines for implementing Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Final approval has been given by the Schoharie County Board of Supervisors and the Schoharie County Senior Counsel.  The fare increases will be implemented in 2015.
